Parking and border route
Enter with an eligible Octopus, park and walk to Sheung Shui Station.
Take an East Rail train for Lok Ma Chau; exit the destination station within 120 minutes of entering the car park.
Return by MTR with the same Octopus and leave the car park within 45 minutes of exiting the gates at Sheung Shui.
Return / overnight This crossing closes at 22:30; allow for the MTR timetable too. The HK$7 concession requires departure the same day or before 02:15 the following day, and is not a multi-day rate.

Park at Landmark North and use the footbridge to Sheung Shui Station.
Check the train destination and take an East Rail service for Lok Ma Chau.
Follow the border signs at the station and complete immigration procedures.
Return / overnight This crossing closes at 22:30. Allow time for the return train and confirm car collection arrangements in advance. An overnight package has not been verified.
The mall connects to Sheung Shui Station by footbridge. Shopping or points concessions have separate membership and redemption conditions; they are not automatic free parking for a border trip.
Futian connects to Lok Ma Chau Spur Line / MTR Station. Park in Sheung Shui and take MTR; Huanggang’s 24-hour arrangements do not apply to this crossing.
Before you travel
Are Lok Ma Chau Station and Huanggang the same crossing?
No. The spur-line control point at MTR Lok Ma Chau Station connects to Futian and closes at 22:30. The Lok Ma Chau road control point serves Huanggang and has different arrangements.
Can I drive an ordinary private car to Lok Ma Chau Station to park?
This guide uses public parking in Sheung Shui followed by MTR. The spur-line control point and its transport interchange are in the Frontier Closed Area and should not be treated as an ordinary drive-in public car park.
