Before you travel

Which option lets me park at the crossing and continue on foot?

Start with Heung Yuen Wai / Liantang. The Hong Kong side has a public car park, followed by a walk through the passenger terminal. Check reservation availability first; passenger clearance is 07:00–22:00.

Can I drive straight to Lo Wu or Futian to park?

The Lo Wu and Futian options here start with parking in Sheung Shui and taking East Rail. Both control points are in the Frontier Closed Area; their addresses are not ordinary public car-park entrances. Choose a train for Lok Ma Chau to reach Futian, or a train for Lo Wu to reach Lo Wu.

Does 24-hour clearance at Huanggang mean the whole parking journey runs overnight?

No. The existing Lok Ma Chau / Huanggang crossing and shuttle run 24 hours, but the connecting 76K service and car collection hours need separate checks. Arrange another connection for a late return and confirm access to your car. Lok Ma Chau Spur Line / Futian instead closes at 22:30.

Do day-parking prices include connecting transport?

MTR and public bus fares are separate; any car-park shuttle follows the operator’s arrangements. Day parking may have a fixed time window, so also check the last return service and car collection hours.

Official sources and notes

Prices are for private cars. Parking, connecting transport and MTR fares are separate. A day-parking window is not a rolling 24-hour rate, and border closing hours are not last admission or the last connecting departure. Hong Kong and Shenzhen both use UTC+8.

Directions search for the named car park and address; follow the on-site entrance signs. Where a reservation link is provided, booking is handled by the operator. Use the official links below for the latest arrangements.
