PARK IN HK

Sources and updates

Useful information has a source and a timestamp.

Making parking information easier to read

Park in HK is an independent Hong Kong parking directory. We organise government open data so you can compare an address, its conditions and the age of the information. We are not a government department or car park operator, and we do not offer reservations or guaranteed spaces.

What is covered?

The directory contains 582 participating car parks across 18 districts. It is not a complete register of Hong Kong car parks. 26 supply private-car hourly rates; the rest are labelled “Check rates”. An EV facility label means the source lists charging facilities, not that a charger is available now.

Sources and retrieval times

Locations, tariffs and facilities come from the Digital Policy Office’s Parking Vacancy Data (One-Stop Version) on DATA.GOV.HK, including Transport Department and participating organisations. The directory was retrieved at 2026-09-20T01:11:51.429Z. Source modification dates appear separately when supplied. A retrieval date is not a new verification of prices.

How vacancies update

Pages request official vacancy data on opening, then every 60 seconds. Responses may be cached for up to 60 seconds. A source timestamp older than 15 minutes is labelled “Outdated data”. Missing, invalid or unreachable records are labelled “No vacancy data”. Zero spaces, availability without an exact count, and closed car parks have distinct labels. Availability does not reserve or guarantee a space.

How prices are displayed

Result cards show the lowest published hourly rate for initial filtering. Detail pages preserve supplied days, time periods, minimum stays and remarks. We do not estimate your final bill. Check the operator’s or on-site latest tariff before entering.

Similar names and locations

Every page retains its source car park ID. Similar names or coordinates can refer to separate sites or records; we do not merge on name alone. Maps and nearby distances use the supplied site coordinates, not vehicle entrances or driving distances.

Reuse and corrections

Data is reused under the DATA.GOV.HK terms and conditions. The source does not endorse this site. Check the original data and operator information when you spot a discrepancy. For questions about rates, opening hours or facilities, contact the operator through the website or telephone listed on the detail page.
